Lisa Gallion

Owner / Senior Stylist

Lisa started her career in 1981 at Westminster Beauty School.  From that point on, she

knew hair was her passion and has continued her career for the past 35 years studying under

numerous companies in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and New York.

Lisa believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field with her

knowledge of new products and services available in order to provide excellent service to her

clientele.  She specializes in dimensional coloring, smoothing treatments, and texture and haircut

(precision/razor) services for men and women.  

Her mentors are Michael Cole, Geno Stampora, Robert Cromeans and Tabitha Coffey.  

Theresa Murray

Manager / Senior Stylist

Theresa is a highly talented stylist who has been practicing hair for over 28 years. As a child,

she always loved creating different hairstyles on her Barbie dolls. At the age of 16, Theresa

enrolled in the cosmotology program through her high school and landed her first job as a 

shampoo girl within a few months. 

Since then she has advanced her educational background extensively and continues to do so.

She has trained with some of the industry's top professionals in Maryland, D.C., Virginia and

New York City.

Theresa has owned her own salon, barbered, taught beauty school and helped apprentices

wanting to become comsetologists all within the Frederick County, MD area. Theresa is

experienced and talented with resistant grey coverage, corrective color, texturizing techniques,

highlights, lowlights, and creating amazing reds and blondes.

Her mentors in this industry are Beth Minardi, Robert Cromeans, and Michael Cole. She is also

inspired by Oprah Winfrey and John Taffer.

Courtney Allison

Junior Stylist

Courtney has always had a passion for Cosmetology. After graduating from high school in 2013,

she enrolled at The Temple: A Paul Mitchell Partner School where she recently graduated in

November 2014 and became a licensed cosmetologist.

She has since mastered a wide variety of techniques including highlighting, smoothing

treatments, upstyling, coloring, waxing and make-up. Courtney is creative, fun and passionate

​about the art of hair fashion.

Courtney is a great listener and makes sure every client who sits in her chair knows that they are

her number one priority. She continues her education by being enrolled at the Temple and going

to hair shows every year to ensure that she stays up-to-date on the latest styles and trends.

Her mentors are Robert Cromeans, Martin Parsons and Winn Claybaugh.

Maria Merriman

Independent Contractor Stylist

Maria attended and graduated from Award Beauty School in 1981 at the top of her class. She 

was awarded a 1st place trophy in braiding at a statewide competition in her younger years.

She has worked for several hair salons which include Hair Cuttery, Hair Performers, and

Studio One.  She was also part manager of a very successful salon, Signature Hair Studio, and

went on to own her own salon later called Insight Hair Studio.

Maria is experienced in all aspects of hair design and specializes in cutting and coloring for both

men and women.  Her mentors are Oprah Winfrey and Deepak Chopra.

Elisa Thomas

Independent Contractor Stylist

​Elisa is an award winning stylist and is a certified Dinair makeup artist.  She works by appointment

only, and is an independent contractor at HTTS.  She can be reached at 301.514.7574. 

Allyson Murray


Allyson is the new stylist apprentice at HTTS.  She has reached her 1,000 hours of cosmetology

education and has received her letter.  Allyson is available to offer you all the services at HTTS

under the supervision of our senior stylist.  She will be working Wednesday, Thursday from 2-7

and Saturdays from 8-2.
